About Me

Hello, Hafa Adai, yan Tirow Beautiful People!

The name is Frank Lee SN. Borja from the beautiful island of Tinian. I have been an educator for about 14 years. I've been teaching since 2009. I've taught Speech & Drama, all levels of English (including AP), and social studies. I currently am a district administrator with PSS Mental Health. I manage the program for Tinian and have been doing that for about three years.

My formal education includes an M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas and I majored in English and Political Science for my undergraduate studies.  I think I love my job lol. I'm giving it five years and I'll see if I transition back to the classroom after this or take on another administrative role. I have my eyes set on potentially being a school principal.

I love reading. My all time favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi but I don't shy away from other topics. Basically, I love fiction. I only do non-fiction if I have to or if I am super interested in the topic. I also enjoy traveling. If only it isn't so expensive. I hope to travel to each country before I die. I'm also a big girl so eating is something I love. Japanese cuisine is a favorite but I've been enjoying Korean and Thai food.

Ed Tech Program

 As someone who completed an edtech education program for PSS Staff, I found the experience incredibly valuable overall. Here are my thoughts: Overall Thoughts: The edtech program provided a comprehensive and practical approach to integrating technology into the classroom. It emphasized not only the use of tools but also pedagogical strategies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. I appreciated the hands-on approach and the focus on real-world application. Challenging Topics: Some of the most challenging topics in the program revolved around effectively integrating technology across diverse subjects and grade levels. This required understanding the unique needs and challenges of each subject area and age group, as well as finding suitable tools and resources to meet those needs.  Greetings, Beautiful People! I'm finishing up the first course of my EdTech cohort journey. Who lied and said this would be easy? 😒 Even as a refresher, I find that I've forgotten some useful tips and picked up many more items along the way. This is one of the best programs in PSS and I'm glad it has continued to remain available to the staff. Kudos to Ms. Lorraine for being an amazing ITDE director.  I'm happy to be sharing this class with my work wife, Valerie. I think I learned a lot about how I can utilize this edtech tools in all aspects of my work. Since the district primarily uses Google apps, I plan to continue to use all parts of it with reports, data collection, and documentation of all administrative aspects of work life. I think I just want to learn more about using sheets and being more confident in using it in my praxis.
